This policy describes how we handle personal information under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Canadian privacy law.
Clera is a directory, not a healthcare provider. We do not collect, store, or process your personal health information. We do not ask for your symptoms, diagnosis, medical history, medications, or insurance details. Any information you share with a clinic you find through Clera is governed by that clinic's own privacy policy, not ours.
We do not run third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or social media pixels on this site.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it for marketing or advertising. We do not use it to train AI models.
Some of our service providers store data outside Canada (including the United States). When this happens, your information may become subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. We choose providers with reasonable privacy and security practices.
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law. Notify-list emails are kept until you unsubscribe or three years of inactivity, whichever comes first. Clinic engagement records are retained for seven years for accounting and tax purposes.

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect information, including TLS for data in transit, access controls, and reputable hosting infrastructure. This website uses only essential cookies set by our hosting provider for security and load balancing. We do not set analytics or advertising cookies.
Clera is intended for adults seeking women's health care. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.
